Chapter 3 Summary
Searching the Web
In Chapter 3 I learned about how search engines work and how the AND operator can help get better results. If I just search “koala” I get millions of results, and if I search “eucalyptus” I also get millions. But if I search “koala AND eucalyptus” I only get the pages that have both words. It’s way easier to find what I’m actually looking for without scrolling through random stuff.
This connects to my life because I use Google a lot for school and projects. Using AND or other operators helps me find info faster and makes researching less annoying. It's amazing to see how knowing a little about search engines can save time and make everything easier.
